Welcome to Andrews!

(Photo by Glenn Asakawa/University of Colorado)
Newly renovated 4 years ago, Andrews Hall is the University of Colorado’s first residential college.  We are a community that supports each other, encourages each other and enjoys each other.

As a residential college, Andrews Hall invites its residents to live here all four years (over 60% of the students in 2012-13 are non-first year); a faculty member (Professor Scot Douglass), his wife (who also teaches at CU) and their two daughters (Hannah, 9, and Thali, 7) also live in Andrews Hall; the student

leadership, both Program leaders and RAs, are all Andrews students; Andrews courses are offered beyond the first year, including core math and engineering courses; teams of Andrews students work on design projects within Andrews; and multiple engineering research teams run by engineering faculty are housed in Andrews.

Far from being Nerdfest 2011, we are gourmet cooks (there is a public kitchen in

Common Room
Andrews), musicians (we have 4 open mic nights per year), athletes (over 2/3 of students are on intramural teams), poets and, yes, a group of people who are also very, very good at math and science—and find all sorts of cool and fun ways to apply this knowledge.  We’re also highly successful.

As Faculty Director of Andrews Hall, where I also live on second west, I encourage you to explore the website and see if this might be a place where you also could call home.  If you already live here, thank you for making this a great place and I hope you find all sorts of useful information, connections and announcements.
